Special Educational Needs and Inclusion
Westminster Nursery School is an inclusive school that welcomes children from all backgrounds and abilities.
We take pride in our provision for children with special educational needs and we value all our pupils equally. Partnership with parents plays a key role in enabling our children to achieve their full potential. We recognise that parents hold key information and have knowledge and experience to contribute to the shared view of a child’s needs and the best way of supporting them. All parents will be treated as partners and supported to play an active and valued role in their children’s education.
Our SEN team are Mrs Clark (lead), Mrs Smith and Mrs Connor. If you have any concerns you can speak to your child's keyworker who will link to to a member of the SEN team for more support.
We will work with you and your child to ensure their needs are meet. Sometimes, with your permission, we will approach outside agencies for further support.
